Beautiful Oil

The oil is a classic blend of Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino and Moraiolo olives. The small Moraiolo olives make up the majority of this oil, giving it a rich and intense flavour with grassy notes and abundant antioxidants.

When people think of Umbria, they envision charming fortified villages perched on hillsides, a beautiful and diverse cultural landscape, and traditional Italian cuisine. Yet Umbria holds some remarkable products worth discovering. The olive oil here rivals the finest and more famous oils from neighbouring Tuscany to the north—the main difference being that Umbrian oils are often more affordably priced. In the heart of Umbria's picturesque countryside, the Gradassi family cultivates olives and presses them into their own liquid gold. As they say it themselves: "A beautiful oil for beautiful people." Beyond their olive groves, the family also owns Umbria's oldest operating olive press. This means they maintain complete control from harvest through transport to their own frantoio, right through to the finished product.
